Tips for better edits with Cropmerger
Give Cropmerger enough of the original image to find the edit and blend it back cleanly.
Keep the original untouched
Duplicate your image before you begin. Crop and edit the copy, then use the untouched file as the original image in Cropmerger.
Leave room around the desired change
Include some unchanged image on every side of the area you want to edit. Cropmerger uses that surrounding detail to find where the crop belongs and match its colour.
Make one clear change
Tell the AI editor exactly what to change and what to preserve. Replace the bracketed text in this prompt with the edit you want:
Please make this change to the attached image: [describe the edit].
Keep everything else unchanged, including the composition, lighting, colour, contrast and image quality. Keep the framing, aspect ratio and outer edges identical. Blend the edit seamlessly into the original image.
Keep the edges familiar
Avoid asking the editor to change important details right at the crop boundary. A border of familiar pixels gives the merge a cleaner transition.
Use a good-quality download
Download the edited crop at the best quality the editor offers. It can be a different resolution from the crop you uploaded.
Try a wider crop if placement fails
If Cropmerger cannot find where the edit belongs, repeat the edit with a wider crop and more unchanged image around it.
